I remember a boy around these parts that put a calibra turbo engine in one of these about 15 years ago, fastest car about at the time, 150mph and like a rocket getting there!

best easy chop is the 1.8 8V 112 brake engine, bags of torque and pull very nicely. Even easier is using a '92 SR 14 16V engine.
Weren't the eighties plastic!
