didn't say it was, the MkV was an absolute shambles

all I meant was that the RS 2000 was different and had an RS factor, the s2 turbo had a not particularly rapid 130 brake engine and rubbish ABS.

I'd far rather an s1 or RS16 if I was to have a skater

Agreed ! Get it bought graham, we saw it on thursday with the blue one.
Quality ,finish and looks are far better in the flesh!
If the steering/drive shaft knuckles work along with the quaife to dial out torque steer it would make an awsome road/track car!
The blue one was next to an escort cossie and hard as it is to say it made the escort blend into the background!

I'm sure it will drive better than it looks . Even Fords latest Transit vans handle so the RS "Max Power" Focus should be good . Also it don't need 4 wheel drive according to the bods from Fords racing department . Personally i think 4 wheel drive is shite on tarmac unless you have a 400+bhp whooooooosh bang turbo in the rain .
