decals

sorry for all the questions today guys was looking on the forum for an under bonnet photo of a standard setup fom a post 1977 Mex .Was wanting to order some decals from Errol but can only find photos with no decals ,also what colour should i paint the engine black or blue .I've got black cam cover and timing cover ,just asking cause lately some the blocks painted blue with the black covers

The blocks were only painted black AFAIK.
The blue cam belt covers, air filters and rocker covers went out in '76.

I wouldn't "detail" an engine, but there everybody has their own preferences

i remember seeing the 1600 decal on the blue cam cover but not on the black ones as for the rest
