Makes me mad. You can nearly build an MGB up from scratch, if only we could have the same with our Fords.

Escort parts are over the top too, but it's nice to get what you want and I suppose you end up paying a bit more for that.

Although a friend of mine bought a brand new grill for his MGB, and to be fair I don't know where he bought it from though. It needed all the bars in it redrilling and repositioning to get the thing looking somewhere right!

What are you lot on about, I get loads of stuff for my Escort from Rimmer Bros

Oh that's cause it's got a Rover engine

It is a shame that there's not the same amout of parts available for the Fords though - I'm sure was it Rimmer Bros that found an absolute shed load of Rover SD1 parts over in India a couple of years back

If it doesn't break it's not modified enough

Perhaps they are still building them there, as with the Morris Oxford!

I used to sell SD1's brand new and particularly liked the 3.5 very much. I was told that before it was introduced, it was shown with tape covering the badges and nobody could guess what make it was!
