Bad luck mate, I had one exactly the same (along with 3 broken ribs). Was off work 11 weeks with it but it healed without being pinned or screwed. The consultant was reluctant to screw it down as there are lots of nerves running under it, couldnt be plated as it was fractured too close to the end ,as yours looks.. All the best
