but wouldnt have thought you would get any change from at least £10k if its a resto as i think only 17 road going cars ever made in the end, and prob £20k plus for a solid useable one.

There can't be more than 3-4 originals left; Wilson has one, there may be one or two in bits in S.Africa (where they ended up), there was a guy on turbospuds had one in bits that was being put back together, and one was up for sale in Belgium last year.
The rest were cut up by Ford when they abandoned the project

Yes it's a replica and I'm in two minds whether to buy it or wait for a MK2 Mexico but the price of the MK2's are still on the high side.
