Is it just me but do our Escorts seem quite small when compared to modern cars??? Saw a regurlar Sport that runs round Nottingham the other day next to a new Micra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just looks tiny nowadays to me.

yep they are narrow and short and not so tall either compared to new cars our Focus looks huge next to mine LOL -
When i first drove my escort i couldn't believe how long the bonnet was when sat in the drivers seat, seemed to go on forever but got used to it now. Cars nowadays are much better designed in terms of comfort etc so i guess its progress. Give me a mk2 escort anyday tho

They do seem very narrow ,but seem to have a very looooooooong bonnet , god knows how long a capri bonnet must look from the drivers seat
