Not many about now. Probably most of them went rallying, cheaper than a Mex but had the looks and flared wings to start with!
In the 70's these were my two babes! The yellow one HDE378L was the first of the face lift versions with the new 6 dial dash and sports road wheels. She also had optional cloth seats, same as the "1300E".
My second the Diamond White one was SFM567M fitted with a Weathershield Sunroof, I loved this! This one had the later MK2 suspension which was a good improvement over the previous setup. The 1300 kent engine was a smooth and lively little motor to drive. I would love to have one of them back now, but I think they both came off the road in the early 90's.
Gone but not forgotten.
