As most of you have probably read, I've been looking into buying my Cousin's Mk2 RS2000 for a while
Well today me, my best mate and his dad went over to my Uncles farm, where the car has been stored to have a better look
Turns out my cousin bought it in 1990 as a running car with MOT, drove it home and it's been parked up pretty much ever since! It's been in storage the whole time in the dry, so it's all good
Overally it's pretty solid. It needs the inner wing on the passenger side replacing or plating, the drivers strut top, sills, and some plating in the floor. Boot lid along the bottom is rusty aswell so that'll probably be replaced also
Best part is the price. My mate and I decided to split it down the middle as a joint restoration, as I'm away a lot aswell. Cost £700 in total
Extremely chuffed with the purchase. We're going to pick it up in a couple of weeks, and get cracking on the restoration. Defs going to be stripping it down and sorting it totally
