Download this software and install

Copy and paste the web address of the video you want to download into the window provided

eg. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzmQDYoqfHs

Select format desired and click OK

File is now downloaded and free to do with as you please.

I use "keepvid". Look here:

Just enter the URL of the movie, click download and save as a .flv file.
Then install the flv-player:
