Whats the Cheapest RS you ever sold ???

Bought a Mk2 Mexico in 1986 for £400 sold it in 1988 for £1500 , sold a Mk2 RS2000 in 1995 for £3000 and bought a 3door Cossy for £4300 bargain

sold my mk2 rs for a grand in 2000 about 5 minutes later the prices started to go up ,cos i needed space in the garden to get my garage built

Not quite up to everyone elses standard and not an RS but i gave me mate a 2 door 1300E with tax and test for his birthday cos his car had been nicked even had Mex wings and a full respray 2 years before, back in 91/2 that would have been, i had only paid £50 for it 3 months earlyer

I sold my Tawny brown "custom" RS1600 BDA resto project still with it's original engine and head , id plates , service books , brand new rear 1/4's , doors , wings , front panel , back panel , sills , etc etc all in etch primer for £2500 in 1992 .

Did the reg number start SPU by any chance.

Sold a MK1 RS2000 with brand new wings (rolling shell all wlding done) for £100 complete with Vin tags and reg doc 15 years ago as I was moving house and didn't have space for it!!

Tried checking dvla website but hasn't been registered since I sold it.....

Sold a red Mk 2 Mexico ONY 889 R for £800 back in 1990 , it wasn't the prettiest of Mex' s but I wish I had kept it, I think its dead now .

sold my mk1 RS2000 GVN696N in 2001 for £3700 and last time i saw it,it was up for £7500 in the same condition.my dad sold a very quick mk1 lotus cortina for £375 in 1981 and bought the same car back as a rolling shell for £4500 12 years later.
