  • Still got the bug

I was out in the garage last night feeding animals ect ect and I looked at my Mk2 sitting there motionless, as it has done all year, and a big smile came over my face.
I just thought 'what a lovely car' and went into the house happier for it.

Sometimes the joy of ownership and just the pleasure of having is more than enough.

There are times when I say 'right that's it sell the whole fn lot of them, don't care what price just get rid', but it dosn't last.
I know mine have rot and I believe everyone elses is see is better, but I live in the knowledge that most people think the same.

On a resto it can be so hard to keep the intial momentum going but then one day it all comes together and you rub the roof and its all over!

Until that is you go to a show and see something shiny you want for you own motor, and before you know it shes half stripped and your'e saying 'why didn't I just leave it alone' all over again LOL
