Replacing rear leaf springs ?

right I have a new set of single leafs that need fitting, whats the easiest way to get the driverside shackle out seeing as the bloody petrol tanks in the way ?? does the whole thing need removing (hope not) or can you just unbolt it carefully and move to the side a bit ? suppose the filler pipe needs taking off tooooooo :twisted:

want to do them today if poss

how did you get into the bolt on the drivers side chassis rail under the tank mate ?

I ve done them now and they were a pig but managed to do it without removing the tank (using a spanner )
