id love to buy on outdoor carcoon but cant afford one....i bought the cairoport but still cant put it up as my garage is letting water in ...it was never water tight to start with .....had the outdoor cover from argos before on the mex & it destroyed the paint work.... ....the van might be better off without any cover at all then

have used it outside twice also, but just to keep the dew off overnight - but what it would be like long term, i havent a clue ? probably fall apart after a month plus because of the problems described above

These seem like a good alternative to a standard cover, space around the car to let the air flow although for the cost you would be better off with the outdoor carcoon.

I've just bought one from PJ covers www.pj-covers.co.uk and it is excellent. It's a proper heavy waterproof cover that won't blow off, has a lovely soft inner lining, has taped seams and quick clip straps to pull it tight over the car. It is semi taylored, so not exactly the shape of your car, but once the straps are fixed it's difficult to spot the difference between a fully taylored cover & this one.
I was looking at other companies, similar top spec covers were charging over £200. Bought this one for around £60 at a show if I remember correctly.
Stay away from the cheap covers in nylon. They rub the corners off your paint in the wind and only last 5 mins before the water seeps through them making your car all damp.
Hope this helps/
