Yesterday Paul Newman died age 83 , after battling Cancer. Paul gained a lot of respect from fellow competitors in SCCA racing, not only as a competitive racer but also a quality guy. Partner with Carl Haas in Newman/Haas racing one of the top C.A.R.T.with such drivers as Sebastien Bourdias , Justin Wilson . Even in his Autumn years Paul Newman was no sloutch behind the wheel of a race car, many in the race industry here in the US beleive that he could of had a career as a racer had he not been a full time actor, and a legendary actor he was .
