  • I've Got A Whizz Bang

Well finally took the plunge and bent to the pressure from the other half and bought my first Jap whizz pop Scooby.
1993 WRX with a dump valve thingy and a **** off drain pipe chimney on it.Going to be a Track Car for me and the wife to use and she can also use it on the road especially as she seems to get herself off just by the noise it makes LOL
Even better I didn't even have to part with any cash at all ,just pay to insure it.
Anyone else on here own a Scooby ?

Still class myself as a Valid RSE member as I still have the RS Rally Car before everyone starts screaming traitor

Had this one as my daily driver a couple of years back.

Very nice motor, but seen the light and came back to the blue oval

    Roll on the Tour 2011

i do fancy a dump valve, but are they any use on a road car?? i also need a louder rear silencer, as you cant tell if its running

My oldman had a dump valve on his last model...like yours Lee but a saloon, couldn't hear it much...not as loud as one on a cosworth is.

As for the exhaust....I would say get one as they make the noise sound much more louder than a standard one does...they sound mint on a boxter engine

So i would say get both items Lee

I assume its best to take some Track rims and tyres ,is there a certain protocol to follow I've read up on Javlin Track Days has anyone used them ?
There is one on at Elvington next Saturday so will go and see what its all about
