That's ****in awful news Paul. There seems to be a few going missing these days is there not????

I know it's really simplistic but if you remove the rotor arm and put the dizzy cap back on at least they can't just simply drive it away.

Hope you get it back mate

I'm gutted for you Paul. Did you have it insured at all..?

Good idea about removing the rotor arm chrisbo, but I bet most thieving c**ts carry these with them - you need to fit hidden immobilser switches to stand a chance in my opinion, even better chain it to a post. Extreme I know but what else can you do? Do you know if they drove it away Paul, or did they tow it/flatbed van it away?

How'd they get into your garage, I've heard loads of stories lately of classics going missing where they get in through the roof - I bet pikies had it.

This sort of thing really puts you off owning a nice mk2.

                        Bastards.

I know what you mean about them carrying a rotor arm, but they have to know what's wrong to fix it!!! The other solution is to put one of these Rhino poles into the ground. I've seen one that a car theif tried to ram in order to steal cars off a forecourt and they didn't get very far!! Best put it inside the garage so the theiving b@stards don't know till they've spent time braking in that the only way they're getting your car out is if they systematically dismantle it and take it away piece by piece. What about poisoned darts flying from the walls like in Raiders of the Lost Ark which inflict a slow and painfull death, or flame throwers, or 240volts or an old shed of a Mk2 with a cracking paintjob but loaded with semtec BOOM!...........or maybe I've taken that TOO FAR??

                          Chris.
