What's the Brands Hatch indie circuit lap record for an oldskool Ford please ? Does anyone know the lap times for a race car and for a street legal car please ?
Proper cars only so no space frame specials etc etc . Also times from proper timing gear and not mates mobile phones or fake Tag watches please !!!!!!!!

Rumour has it that any old ford that can do 55secs without slicks is about the fastest lap . No solid evidence of this though so i'm still asking .

gaz, the old vecta challenge cars used to go round in about 53 secs, sure paul bailey used to go quicker than that

The lad who had my Mk1 Escort RS 2000 race car before me, Brian Fletcher from Peterhead in Scotland, raced in the Toyo Tyres road saloon race at Brands Hatch around 1995 I think. He had a good dice with Roger Ebdon in a Mk2 XR2 & lead most of the race until the last corner when Ebdon edged ahead & won by a narrow margin. There was a photo & article about it in Motoring News at the time. The car was red with a yellow roof & the rampant lion on it, same as the flag.

Does anyone know if there would archived lap times for that ???

Ok thanks folks . So if an old ford can go round in 55secs then that's fast then i suppose .
