OK Ford fanatics!!

Thinking of buying one, to shift the (growing..) family aroond....

Anybody got first hand experience of them?? Any views and recommendations etc??

good jobs, s max is better but way bigger, TDCI you need too

or a V*******L Zafira new shape the neighbours have one and love it, loads of room for the family too

I've just bought my missus a V***hall Zafira facelift model (they changed on 55 plate) and can say that its not bad

7 Seats, loads of room to carry things as you can fold the seats down in lots of different ways and it's not that big physically (if you known what I'm saying)

A lot cheaper than the VW or Ford equivalent

My Dads just bought his second one, He had a 2lt tdci and now changed it for a 1.8 tdci, When he 1st got the 2lt he had problems with the EGR valve which when sorted (under warrenty), He does say the 2lt seems like it was better on fuel than the 1.8 He loves both but I keep getting the feeling he wishes he had got another 2lt ( his main reason for getting a 18 was economy) But to be far its fairly new so might slacken up some more yet, Try and get one with rear parking sensors the rear seems longer than it is

my brother had a brand new one,sorry to say this but hes had a load of problems with it!!!!!brakes coming on buy them selves while he was driving it ,handbrake wouldnt come off,it all broke of once hes had problems locking it,battery went flat once,engine warning light kept coming on,ford had it for 2 months,said that there was nothing wrong with it,in the end,ford bought back the car of him and hes had a vauxhall z******,much better car,cheaper and much bigger,he loves it so think before you buy,hes ford was 8 months old,by the way!!!!!the vaux is the gsi turbo model,nice bit off kit .........

I was originally thinking of going for a Focus 5 dr hatch..but then started considering a C Max instead. Might do an about-turn!

Father in law has a 2.0 tdci ghia. Has had it from new(about 2 years now) and has had no problems with it and really likes it.
Regularly gets 45+ to the gallon.

I driven to Southern Ireland in it (wicklow,wexford and cork last year) and was very impressed with it: loads of room, plenty of power and with the 6 speed box, great for the motorway.......hope this helps.

Got a 54 plate 1.6 zetec and it's great, cheap tax, cheap insurance, great fuel economy and great to drive - go for it.

Wife has a Scenic. We went on holiday to Spain last month and rented a C-Max tdci - I was inpressed how quick it was. Handled quite well too. I would consider one.

I owned 3 C-Max's. All 1.6 Zetecs. 2 were TDCI's and the last one petrol.

Good cars. No problems. Diesels are the best choice. Even the 110bhp 1.6 TDCI was well up to it.
