I took a video of mine twelve months ago and was amused how it sounded like a Massey Ferguson Tractor. Maybe I should remove the exhaust pipe out of the top of the bonnet!!!!!!
i had a phone call off eric lipski this morning, of JEM engines fame, and i told him what problems i'd had in the past, and my symptoms this time. after some discussion he suggested maybe it was a fueling problem i had, to be honest i just made the assumption the gasket was on its way out again, anyway eric said try the balance screw between the carbs............
runs ok now, i feel such a tit
i did do a compression test once it was back running, cyls 1-3 are @ 10 bar @ 3000 rpm, cylinder number 4 is only 7 bar @ 3000 rpm, it may be this which is causing the bottom end to pressurise and make my rear seal leak, so i think a freshen up is still necessary, but i may get to have a bit more fun with it through sept
