I fancy a change after 6 years of ownership!

            Nothing sinister!

so who is considering selling there car ?

i dont see it makes a jot of diference if my twin cam is worth £4k or £30k it aint going know where.
the only people its going to effect is the ones that jumped on the bandwagon buying mk1s and mk2s at crazy high prices because it was the cool thing to do , and not for the passion of the cars and there heritage.
why would you want to sell your dream car , as that is what many of us have .
i will still have a mk1 in 40 years time , if i live that long, hopefully my twink still.
lets keep these cars where they belong with the real enthusiasts , not with money grabbing tossers.

Bubble well and truly still inflated judging by ebay prices

The market for classic/ 'leisure' vehicles will always slow up around this time of year, regardless of economic climate.

Having thoroughly enjoyed thrashing my Mk2 around the Speyside forests at the weekend, I can assure you it is going nowhere regardless of value !

                        prices going down

speaking purely selfishly (as someone who is looking to buy a mk1 in the next few months) i'd be happy to see the prices go down - i'm still kicking myself that i didn't get hold of one a few years ago when prices weren't so silly.
theoretically once i get hold of one she'll be staying with me until we both rot away ;-)
