    What was Roger Clark's first proffessional works drive?

    I am no historian , But was it in 65 in a cortina GT ? I feel sure thats too easy and somone is going to say a Zephyr or Rover

      Reliant Scimitar? (before Rover) (assuming this thread is about R.A.Clark the rally driver, not R.Clarke).
      His original white Cortina GT that won the 64 Scottish was his car in all respects AFAIK. It was re-shelled with a works prepared red shell and fitted with full works spec bits. I have no idea what the financial arrangements were for that but he was also contracted to Rover in 65. It then won the 65 Scottish and 65 Gulf London a few weeks apart. Both shells carried reg 2ANR, like his earlier Cooper.
