Retro Ford have strongly supported The Lakes Tour and will obviously support it next year

they are loosing out by running it on the same weekend, there are many peeps that would like to try the classic tour from this BB but don't want to miss the lakes tour, the RSE irish tour sounds good though

Just had this reply from Jonothan. He is asking for an alternate date. Neil, perhaps you could get a few to go on a block booking with Classic Ford and very reasonable as well with NO camping lol ? Just a thought, but makes sense to me

Clashing of events is always a problem and everyone complained when we moved the evnent to April.

If we can change the date of the hotel reservation, what date in May would be suitable ?

sorry if i sound a little stroppy at this, but i find it a little annoying reading all these replys saying 'i know where i'll be' and 'lakes tour 09 for me' etc etc but next to none of you's guys have done the continental thing, and i think you should try both before you pass comment, as both are excellent and both have their own merits and both are expertly organised.

2. maybe peeps like the area for the lakes (i,do) ...... the last cf tour just looked like a massive motorway drive .......... all the pics where from a motorway or parked in a town (i can do that into bmth lark)

what about two sections of the tour where there is a treasure hunt - must be loads of areas to get out the cars for a quick scramble about to get the relative information, then back in the cars and off again

used to do a few down here in darsit, right laugh - once had a crew total over a hundred miles on a 38 miles course

If there are no positive replies to the problem, I will not try to get the Ireland Tour moved away from the lakes weekend. Thought peeps would love to go to see the Irish on a cheap, high quality tour

Went for a run out on Sunday, came across a little do going on, as you do, they had a R&B band playing on a flatbed wagon, they were superb, just like Jake and Elmo Blues , how about summat like that for Saturday night after the tour ??
