I think thats a bit optimistic, values have become static and cars are taking longer to shift , people who want out of them quick have accepted lower figures. Average price cars are more widely available now but good original cars will always be sought after, not as many resto/basket cases cropping up now as well, I reckon they have been broken.

wud have to agree with u there paul. i think that a real gud orignal car will always sell and hold gud money. but the problem with the resto of cars is getn harder and harder to do with the price of parts and when u count up wot it takes to restore a car its cheaper to go and buy a real gud car and be finished.

Yes far too much over priced dog poo about these days . £7000 for rotten old mexicos with £300 worth of running gear on them is a joke . People who know mk1/2 escorts won't buy them it's just the newbie's that get sucked in and part with the cash . Once they wise up and stop getting shafted it's game over and the prices drop .
