Busted Diff

My diff became a bit noisy( difficult to hear anything in the car as it is close to being ear plugs anyway)

Pulled it tonight as there was a grating /clunking noise


3 of the bolts holding the crownwheel had come loose with one broken and lying inside the casing :shock:

Check out the casing where they had come loose leaving a gouge in the casing :shock:

Will be pulling it apart tommorow night to see what is salvagable, as long as the LSD is fine I'll be happy

My diff went bang at oulton park last week in the cossie! Locked up back wheels , sounded like someone had an irish pogo stick jumpin around the boot!

got some liquid weld if you wanna borrow as i 've said before if your gonna do it your as well doing it properly thats some jigsaw puzzle ,what you gonna do about the axle ,weld up the split
