  • OVX 431P - Gp1 allied polymer / Vatanen car

Were there any other "works" cars with OVX ***P reg numbers ??

As I've got the number OVX 808P, and I wondered what it might be worth ?

    It's a June '76 ( GCATSK******)

    Cheers Rob.

      Rob,

If you have the book, look in the back of "The Works Escorts" by Graham Robson. He lists all the works and semi-works cars in there, aswell as rego numbers. I have the book, but unfortunately don't have it near me at the moment (it's back home in Australia)

      Cheers
      Justin

i always told myself, that if i ended up with a white rs2000, i'd have a full set of decals made up to replicate those cars, one of my favourite schemes, along with all the others of course.

According to Mr Robson (Works Escorts) the only two OVX works RS2000s were

              OVX 430P BFATSG41291
              and
              OVX 431P BFATSG41288

                Thanks for that Ian.

I reckon the number would still look nice on a Mk2 2000 though

Maybe my red one will get it along with an F.O.R.D. grille and early badges
                Cheers Rob.

Yes, it would ... along with a set of Cibie's and some of those RS covers you have !

                  Look very authentic.
