Compromise bteween the two would be nice.
That nice big front air scoop on the top one was nice (not body colour, looks to STD) and the toned down foglamps look good, but those wheels, just look wrong. Undecided whether a bonnet vent would be good or not.
Surely Top Gear have got the wrong pic, as surely it won't be a 4–door?Comment

The ST 4 doors seem quite popular and the old saphs sold so if there is a market i can see there being a 4 door
why leave a big gap for VW to fill eh

I wouldn't get rid of a mk1/mk2 escort,to get the new focus RS,but i like the look of the new RS and i think it will be a very good car to drive if ford get it right
And i dont think they will go down in price in a few years time,look at the first focus RS,very hard to find a decent one now and if you do,it will be worth a bit,so i would keep hold of a new focus RS,if you were pleased with it !!!

I can't see the Depreciation on one of these mirroring mainstream models....as someone said earlier..original Focus RS wasn't bad on that score....Escort Cosworth similar??....

i think its a great looking car. I hope when its unveiled its as aggressive as the early pics suggest, the green pics that is. The wheels DO need to be bigger and wider than the ST. The seats need to be superior to the ST and the engine needs to have more grunt. A car worthy of the RS margue...... I hope so. Will be going to the show to see the car this July, Could really be tempted. Straight into concourse
