You have to wonder why Ford issued such nonsense. Certainly by 1973 the only people who would have believed 115lb front springs were ideal for the home internationals and the RAC were those who's Escort rally experience was limited to the "Chipping Sodbury Night Navigation Rally".

Really nice, just love the marketing speak, bla, bla, bla. If only they knew what these cars would be like at the turn of the century
