I had the Scalextric set with loads of old motors, even had a James Bond DB5, bet that would be worth a fortune now....I'm not going to upset myself by looking
Evil Knievil Stunt Cycle and Rocket Cycle were the things to have for a time as well.
We seemed to get more outside biased toys back then, bikes like Choppers, Thomahawks, Grifters then in the 80's you got the start of the BMX revolution and the roots of the mountain bike scene, who remembers the "Raleigh Bomber"? I'm sure it was made from cast iron, hard to pedal uphill but faster than a bus downbank, a truly scary lump of heavy metal.
At the end of the 70's technology started to take over, how we marvelled at the Atari 2600, we were easily pleased back then though with such ground breaking games as "Tennis" and the "combat cartridge", hours of fun.

Astro wars, Binetone video games system, race and chase, and 48k zx spectrum with manic miner and jet set willy etc and not forgetting my red raleigh tomahawk
