venetian red mk2 Mexico, paid £400 when I was 16 complete with wolfrace slot mags, rebuilt it ready for passing my test (including fitting 4 spokes ) wrote it off 1 day after passing my test, bought it back from insurance company rebuilt it, this time it lasted 2 weeks this went on for 4 yrs before the lure of central locking and electric windows got the better of me and I bought an RS 1600i

I passed test at twenty and bought a MK11 Mexico insurance wasn't cheap so what you only enjoy yourself once thats when your young.
Twenty four years later mid life crisis gone and bought another RS a cheapy an RS2000.
Just hope I don't wrap this one around another car.!!!

mk 2 capri 2.0s JPS rgr393p bought it in 1979 £1250 happy days.......... had it eight years then scrapped it still have the original plates on the garage wall

mk2 1.3 ghia, with two grey primed wings and the old am/fm radio still in it. dad ran into it with a p100 pick up, so bought a 2door sport shell of ian harwood and swopped all the bits.

My first car was an H reg Vauxhall Viva HB FOR £300 good little runner till i got t-boned by a cortina got another one to put all the bits in but it got nicked so i got a ford escort mk2 estate instead
