I've had grief too, from my two teenage kids, close relatives, etc, and it can wear you down and make things miserable. But don't forget, we are lads and we like our toys and doing things like this. We are only on this earth once, and we have got to have some kind of release from the daily demands of modern life, everything in moderation and we should be ok,.............there are far worse things we could be into.

howeverjust before it leaves the drive, youll realise how much blood sweat and tears have gone into it, the laughs you've had driving it and in my case the fact the wife wont get in it so you get some peace...

get it sold mate, its a ford escort with a bit of polyeurethane on the front, easily replaceable and loads around.

prices are exorbitant at the moment, cash in now, take the buyers details and just in case you fancy it back in a few years take an option to buy it back.

i went to buy a £7k RS in Exeter eighteen months ago, driving along in this rickety old car, i suddenly thought "what i'm i doing paying this sort of money for an old escort". Madness.

There's better things to be had for the money. I'm gonna try another Impreza P1 again, supercar performance, arses falling out of the prices at the moment as well.
