Plate tranfers

Im in the process of buying two 100e's i'm keeping the one and stripping or selling the other it has MOT how would i go about flogging the plate to try recoup some money?

Put V5C in your name

Then complete the following - Reg Retention Form

Pay £105 - Job Done !

Fill in the log book in your name if you haven't already, go to your local dvla office and fill in a retention certificate form , pay them just over £105 and you'll have a retention cert come though in around 7 days.

Just done one and was unsure if they'd take it with the book in the previous owners name and my details only filled in on the new owner section . No problems though and saves waiting for the book to come back in your name.

Just make sure the reg is transferable, some old pre 62 plates are not, it'll be on the log book as "non transferable"
