Advice please on new paintjob!

Hi all, I just finished a complete spray job on my rs today(will try post some pics), i'm very happy with the finish on the paintwork, but am looking for some advice about compounding the paint afterwards. How long should i wait for the paint to harden ! what grade of compound and what type of buffer head should i us. all info greatly appreciated.Thanks Stephen
