2.1 pinto on dyno

hello fellas,
heres the latest engine i had on the dyno, its a 2.1 all steel rally spec lump, 94mm bore , farndon rods/crank, dry sump set up, stage 3 head, gts4 cam, the comp ratio is 11.0-1 as its going to the cech republic and im not sure of the fuel out there , so best to play it safe, 48 dco/sp carbs, this engine did not have a ported inlet manifold as its my one for my lump and i wasnt going to ruin it as i want it port matched to my head, it would of made a5bhp more if it had been ported.
it made 197bhp and 161 ft/lbs of torque.

the vid is done by steve grenald the dyno op on his camera, they are a bit rough. he always dyno's the engine late at night when its quiet.

nope its in the middle of nowhere. he has to do them at that time as the dyno is about 5 metres from the rolling road .

thanks mate, wait till you see my new engine im doing for the van. 2.1 long rod. slipper pistons full race head , bf63 cam, 45mm throttle bodies, it will be a engine feature in classic ford mag as well. i will post the dyno vid up on here well before its in the mag .
