hello everyone.
long time no speak.well i finally got time to come on here, the alloy yb is finally done, keep your eyes out in classic ford for it. we(burtons) are getting a youtube section done for all the engine dynos, i will get andy b to load the yb dyno video up tomorrow for you to see.

here a QUICK VIDEO OF THE ALLOY COSWORTH ON TRACK N ROADS DYNO.
IT MADE 244BHP AND 170FT/LBS OF TORQUE. REMEMBER THAT IT IS ONLY A 2.0LTR ON RALLY CAMS.

I'm not suprised if it's bolted to a standard Metro 'box Joke

What sort of RPM is it delivering the figures at..?
Is it torquey enough to put in a road car & be driveable..?

I take it the guy with the Metro is just trying to hammer it everywhere, hence not getting the power down.
It's no good having that power if it's not tractable.

hello mate the peak power is at 8000rpm but it pulls all the way from 3500rpm . peak torque is at 6000rpm.the power curve is a pure smooth slope . the main prob the man has is that he does not have enough rubber and no weight at the back end. it could be a road engine but is really a proper rally spec lump.

just thought id put the dyno video of the1700 x/flow i just built on here for you .it pulled 153bhp and 128ft/lbs. its all steel 83.5mm bore ,dry sumped, burton race head, a6cam,45dcoe's.

if you liked the x-flow then you will love the bdg im building at the min. as soon as i have the dyno video il post it. the next one up will be a 2.1 dry sumped all steel pinto. then its my 2.1 long rod pinto on throttle bodies..
