firstly tonight re fitted the loom,then new starter no probs with these fault gone,then tried to get it going for the first time in over twenty years no petrol,finally susses that the push rod dont move in and out resulting in radiator/fan/timing cover /belt /alternator/and pulleys off and remove jack shaft .i now know that 2.0 inj one different so rebuilt and finally fired.bit rough but we will try again tommorrow.fitted most of the interior/mudflaps /suspension/steering im am now ****ed but not giving in yet.mot /tax tune up set timing and tracking then a good clean and i should be there .fingers crossed.good luck guys on your travels see you all there
