  • last minute glitches..............

    seem to be a lot of last minute problems with Cars, hope you can all make it lads , will be a lot of burning the midnight oil this week me thinks

    cracked my 4 branch i aint got the money to buy a new one so exhaust bandage it will have to be till after the tour

        went to do the valve gaps today and as I pulled off the plug leads two snapped on me , so now have new dizzy cap, new rotor arm and 5 new leads .
        Engine sounds sweet now the gaps are all done.
        Also put std seat-belts back in for the tour boot all full and ready to go

          Mine's all done Oh apart from the bonnet needs a full respray which is getting done tomorrow (everything crossed)

            I need to give the block a going over with some AG Machinery cleaner!

            But "bricking it", that I enduce some sort of earth after my 300 trouble free miles last weekend to Aberdeen!

              loud knocking from n/s front corner on inspection the bilstein insert locking nut had come off and stripped the thed new insert needed 300/70 short, called a mate of mine who had a new one how lucky am i .. new insert now fitted with no knocking see you at the tour, lee.

                bonnet still not painted

                At this rate I'll be putting it back on at 6am Saturday before setting off

                  Well the bonnet is done

                  going down to pick the car up in a bit to bring back to the house to wash and pack ready for the morning
