both are superb cars though on appearance I would have to say that a mk1 rs2000 in modena green with decals is the best looking rs by far

i think the shape of the mk1 is lovley as is the mk2,also i like the mk2 as i do the mk1,but the mk1 can cause you trouble as with the mk2,the mk2 is lovley to drive as is the mk1,but i do like the colours in the mk2 as i do the mk1,so realy they are 1 and the same thing,no choosing to do for me as with most escort owners i think you will find!
