Hi all, slightly off topic, a mate of mine has recently bought a 1983 Ford Sierra 4dr 2.3 Ghia reg FWD ***P, The guy he bought it from said it was the 3rd sierra off the production line, is there any way he can trace if this is the case! The car is the only one I have seen with a manual gearbox as I'm pretty sure all 2.3 ghias had automatic! Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Stephen

I would have thought the early one would be press cars?
usually with HK in the plate , early ones i know of where BHK plates but i don't have many listed

1983 was A plates, august - july following year
plus sierra was produced from the september of 1982
maybe this may help your search
