Stayed at just over 162 but it is much smoother and tootles round town in 3rd and 4th gear no problem without spitting and popping so well happy with the results. Also got a quicker pick up at lower revs

I too have a 1980 model, with a set of rear graphics that came with the stripes. I love them, and was very tempted to fit them on, but in my view their place is on the early cars so they won't go on mine. If it is an original car then putting the graphics on will slightly take it away from that, but it's your car and your choice to do what you like.
