  • pikeys sniffing round my car! help!

alright guys, my sister phoned my mate today to tell us that some people in a flat bed lorry with a hydraulic arm drove past our house today pointing at our cars . they stopped just down the road for a bit but when they saw my sister they drove off.

i hope this is just some old skool ford fans admiring our cars but you never know!!

has anyone got any ideas on how i car protect my car? ive already bought a wheel clamp. might get a ground anchor to chain it to.

Depends a lot on whether it is a daily runner, parked on the street / driveway etc...more info needed.

Buy a BOA CONSRICTER snake and let it live inside the car with a sign on the window "SNAKE LIVES HERE"

I live in a tiny little village and even hate getting my car out of the garage.

The trouble is we get alot of tourists so there is always alot of people coming through the village

                reg number !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the first thing to do mate is get the reg number of the vehicle they are mooching arround in that way if you phone the old bill they can find them alot easier if out happens to your car ! my wife was followed the other month to and from school with my kids in the car by three skin heads in a black nova ! probably wanted to jack the bmw ! she comes in all flustered telling me whats gone on ! so i says what is the reg number ? she says dont know !!! i could have brought my pimp hand out of retirement !

As a lot on here know I had this the other month but they had a go at taking it.

1st thing to do is move your car if possible to another safe location.
Next thing to do is update your security, if you keep the car in a garage PM me as I have just fitted some very good items to my garage but did cost me about £400 to do this and took best part of a week to do.
If the car is kept on a driveway ground anchors are the way to go with very good motorbike chains and locks, none of those £50 jobs. You will be looking at £100 upwards min, do a google search for motorbike ground anchors and chains.
All the best with this mate

I'm doing a resto job on mine so all of the components are scattered across Kent! For the time being, they won't get all of mine! W****RS!. I would wire the car to the mains but then I would be the one in prison - gotta love our justice system!

if you cant move it, jack it up and take the wheels off for extra security

Yeah get it bolted and chained to the ground, leaving it on blocks wont make a difference if the feckers have a hiab lorry!

And buy a shiny little baseball bat to keep by the bedside!
