cheers boys was a real struggle just to make the start on friday lots of late nights with help from mr simon endsor (cossie si) and without him we wouldnt be out there doing thanks m8 i am grateful of your comitment and your support , young alex for the painting no roller required and mike 'the hammer man' phillips these boys but the car back to square after that rock (more like a furkin boulder 4' x 3' x 3') jumped out on me whilst testing

so we joined up to the best historic series and the right class for my car after doing a few events learning to get upto speed the first 4 stages were only a mile from the end of 1 then straight into the next so they came up sharp with not even time to take the helmet off , so then back at service we got a text off chris (rallye news editor) telling us we were leading the class and 32 overall we were just getting into the swing after the 2nd stage and now were trying harder as it got dark , up bright and breezey sat morn and what a nice run out we had to the first stage thro farmers yards and forest tracks wow the views were great we arrived at stage 5 start control to be met by xpack (big bob) who gave us a big kiss possibly a unlucky 1 after 3 - 4 miles in we were coming up hill and we got it wrong i may of miss heard as there was a lot of info to take in for a stump like me but we managed to drive along the ditch but just stopped before we put it on its roof then it stalled and we were 8-10' in the speccy s came after i held the horn on but time was ticking by rick the nav jumped out for the tow rope and the speccy's pulled us out onto the road inc. my step brother and my daughters boyfriend cheers lads , i didnt know the wife and my fan club were on this corner and got the lot on video doh my daughter was in tears as the marshalles spoke to my wife asking if i was british as he has never heard the air so blue well i never get wound up eh boys so after that with a quick check we had the notes road books and time cards we were off again after loosing nearly 3 minutes , the next stage got cancelled after jimmy mcrae went off and his nav was air lifted with back pains , jimmy broke his wrist and cracked his sternum ow , but we took next stage steady and got steady back to speed i think we had a good rally and would like to thank the service crew si , alex , rick a , judith for here great driving even got simon stuck for words and all our fan club who braved it even anthony high up on the logs in pundershaw

cant wait for the next one
