  • Potential Problem!!!!

I have just sold my Escort Cosworth via a trader, no problem so far. Agreed a price and what jobs would be done for the new owner.

    So far so good

Now the trader says that the new buyer is complaining that the clutch is slipping and there is too much oil in the car.

So far I have`nt been paid

I`m owed £15,500 after commission and jobs.

My feeling is someones trying it on, as the new owner has had it over a week now, I have`nt signed the logbook to say I`ve sold it and have`nt been paid either.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I want to someone.

      tell straight

if someone else has had it for a week, and you havnt signed v5 you are still responsible for any parking or speeding fines!!until its in the new keepers name, tell them you want the money by weekend or the car back,if none of them happen then you will inform the police it has been stolen, this will speed them up,dont be messed about by car dealers.they will have been paid or they would not let that sort of money drive away!

Sorry pal, no money no car.

Perhaps the rear crankshaft seal is leaking oil onto the clutch.

No money no car. Tell the dealer to sort the money asap or get the car back,as said before you are liable to speeding fines and parking fines.
