  • Wheel refurb in NI?

Where is the best place to get some RS alloys refurbed in NI?

Tried one place in Carrick but they were looking £90 a corner

Will even travel outside of Co. Antrim if that is what it takes

    going rate !

i think the going rate is £50 ! per corner mate . ive had a think about mine ? they are the original wheels from new (i think ) but by the time ive paid to strip and re polish and then new tyres !! its probably cheaper to buy a set done ! john

£45 gets them over to Lepsons, they do a brillant job.

If you are not wanting them diamond cut but just refurbed and painted there is Lester Engineering in Lisburn... However if you are wanting diamond cut then I would recomend Lepsons...

Ok here's a no brainer. Whats the difference betweeen diamond cut and not diamond cut.

The rims are straight enough but just looking their age.

Here is one that has been refurbed and painted by lester if you want the original finish like wij11 pic above you need to get them diamond cut which restores to factory finish "the polished part of the wheel". As per wij11 wheel above you need to paint the spokes dove grey as this is the colour that most of the 6 j would of came on Rs2000's and harriers when new.

Lester Engineering did my capri ones last year, great job, £40 + vat per wheel including separate centre caps

                  Thanks.
I love the diamond cut finish so I'll probabaly go with that.
It may work out cheaper to buy a set of new 7s from Midland but I think I would still rather have the genuine rims restored.
