Heres one for you I picked up a brand new engine loom for a mex/rs1600 mk1 today never been fitted with all the correct colour of wires in it, ITs also stamped ford on the connectors but its BLACK what i mean is that the loom tape is original but black and all the connectors are also black, the only thing i can think of that is was for aftermarket or abroad.
So can anybody shed some light on this one its got me,
When i once visited Malta for a holliday a few years ago i went into a ford main dealership and ask for anything that they had to do with the mk1 escort the man looked at me as if i was off of a different planet but did come out with a packet of wire loom clips and they were black but original ford i still have some.
So thinking of keeping it black whats your thoughts
