download a V888 form from the dvla paul, it will cost you a fiver, about 4 weeks later you will get the full history of your car including the original dealer info, well worth a fiver mate

A hell of a lot of these "UX" reg's were sold by WR Davies in Welshpool, Mid Wales, as I used to spend time going for a spin down there to admire the rows of lovely new RS's there. There will be other neighbouring RS dealers that possibly sold them as well.

Rutters or Furrows were not RS dealers as far as I know.

Kirbys in Wrexham is another possible. as they were close to Shropshire.

Rutters were not RS dealers but did supply RS vehicles new, at customers request.

Furrows Telford were RS dealers. Whether they go back far enough to the mk2 i don't know.

But if it was from one of these and i may be able to help with sticker, if not good luck with the search.
