Dave, he used some Beta Reproduction cloth the same as Ruddys and Richie's..... very close and a lot better than worn seats!
They cost me a little more than Richie's as there's a little more cloth on a roll top and the seats needed a little work plus i had the frames sprayed while they were apart. Total £740.
I'll be at the Lakes tour so if anyone want to have a look at them make yourselfs known and have a look for yourselves.
Like i said he's a really nice bloke and his work speaks for itself.
These look great! When you say the quality is close, what is the difference then?

It's hard to say, i've been looking at 30 year old beta for so long now anything's going to look different (if you know what i mean)
I saw Richies seat in the flesh and this convinced me that this was the way to go.
My cars never going to concourse nor do i want it to be.
But like i said 30 year old seats or nice fresh and clean seats.
I'd say they look fluffier (if this makes sense) that could be the newness of the martial, but whatever there something to see in the flesh.
            Hope this answers your question.
If anyone want's to have a look at them i'll be at the lakes.

I reckon in the near future there's going to be more and more remanufactured parts coming on the market to us MK2 owners and it's up to us to decide as to whether we want overpriced second-hand crap off ebay or remanufactured parts..... Ford are never going to make them for us again.

The RSOC tried to get this going a few years ago but that died on it's aRSe.

There's a call for parts now and i think we should applaud people like Dave, Darran, Paul and Eroll for getting the ball rolling. Ok so they may make a few quid but i'd like to think they may pump some of the money back into remanufacturing some more parts for us.

            I'd rather push a Ford than drive a V**X***L

                              stunning retrim

They are bang on, to get the join between the material and vinyl straight and tight is not easy. Well worth the money. Can he do fishnets with the piping? anyone had a set done? my second day on the site and a very useful contact, nearly up to that stage on my rebuild. Great stuff!! btw whereabouts is the trimmer. would prefer to deliver myself than by carriage.
