I need one and have been thinking how to make one, possibly by making a form out of wood, and possibly using a material stuck on in layers rather like paper mache, but in the right suitable material. This could even be given a final bitumous finish to look original. Perhaps someone knows of a material that could be used in this way to give a acceptable finish.

it's ok trying to make a pad but theres not a big call for them as most ppl on this BB have there cars done. it's just the odd person that needs one and the come up on ebay enough to stop the demand. i have looked into having them remade and it's just to hard and it will cost to much.sigpiccheeRS paul

i think you could deffo shift a good few paul, as good ones are hard to find, even a shabby one demands crazy cash , 2 here mate
