Should do what the french do and vote with our feet. Its not just the price of petrol its tax on everything

If you are prepared to get up and go to work (if you can) for a living then what incentives are there.

Maybe we should all be become politicians and then we could have huge expense accounts and I could have my missus as my PA and pay her £40000 a year for doing **** all and we could all decide what annual pay rises we should award ourselves. Crooked bastards

Maybe if this government wasn't wasting so much money then we could afford to take the massive taxes off our everyday lives.

when i was a lad i remember diesel was always 2 thirds of the price of 4 star so what the **** has happened there , government advises everyone will be better off in a diesel car, better for the enviroment cheaper to run , bit pricier on servicing and parts but overall good saving , once we had all gone out and bought diesel cars to help be green and save a few quid , government comes in and ****s us over , what a surprise lpg will be the same already risen way above inflation by quite a few 100% .
but dont forget lads we are british , so we can be pushed around and all we will do is winge ,APATHY its the british way of life and we are always up for being ****ed over , gas electric water , more please i love being broke can i have some more price increases mr brown please sir.****ing bast***ds the lot of them.

LPG is the way to go until the Government tax it to death as well
I agree Dave, I got a 70 litre LPG tank in my ST220, I can do 330 miles to £32 of LPG Local price for me is now 55.9p still far cheaper then petrol or diesel though.

                      fuel costs !

the goverment cant stop you passing your driving test ! so they cant control the number of cars on the roads !! so they just keep putting the costs up until they price you off the road ! why should you pay full tax and insurance on your classic car when most of us use them now and again ? its ripp off britain and they will be happy when were all on push bikes .

                        above add on !!

also look at the number of speed cameras and parking restrictions all over the place ! you could loose your licence in one day if your not carefull !! the car is the enemy and the goverment want you off the roads .

                          I put £50 of diesel in the van today, 115.9p a litre, that's £5.25 a gallon!
So I bought 10 litres of veg oil for £8 and added it, that brings it down to £4.11 a gallon.
I ran 50/50 mix in the summer, van seemed to run better, quieter, more power and more mpg!

To be honest its the first time I have added veg oil for a year or so, after being disgusted at today's pump price, provoked me into a spontaneous decision to add some.
To re cycle waste veg oil, you have to have filters to extract the waste food and also water content of the oil which the oil absorbs through cooking. Something I haven't bothered with Gra, too much potch and no time, and no room in my garage!
Also with today dci's the pump and injectors, you have to be careful of gumming up the piston rings with unburnt fuel, as the modern engines have a progressive burn rather than the old type. So pure veg oil requires to be heated before it hits the pump and injectors, a twin tank system, with derv starting the engine up to operating temp.
In the past I have added up to 50% mix in the summer to derv, but it becomes a pain having to go get the veg oil from the shop!
Its just something to try and get back at this rip off government
For personal use up to 2500 litres per year can be used before duty on veg oil too
