996 looks the dogs, but naked one's are proper bikes! the lads i ride with all have plastic misiles, and take the **** after a long thrash as i'm usually suffering a bit from neck strain but after having both i prefere the look and the ride, or the best of both worlds, keep the 996, remove and throw away the plastics put some renthals on, you've got your self a proper bike!! job sorted

I would keep the 996... Have you been out on a fireblade..My mate is 64 and will not sell is. He's been out on my zx and get's back ache ect. On is all day no problems.

Going to keep the 996 another wee while, I reckon that for what I was going to have to pay along with prechanging with the 996 I could buy a s/h S4R and have both
